Computational Multi-modal Communication Analysis group
We study interaction of neural networks in special populations (children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf, and gifted and talented), to identify the mechanisms of developmental changes in communication and higher cognition.
Our work is supported by the National Science Foundation, ORAU Powe Jr. Faculty Enhancement Award, University of Texas Research Enhancement Grant, EURIAS Fellowship Programme, and Association for Psychological Science's Fund for Teaching and Public Understanding of Psychological Science.
